What you will do: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the development and quality assurance of our Oracle Retail Xstore Point of Sale (POS) solutions. This role will oversee engineering teams responsible for delivering scalable, secure, and high-performing POS capabilities, while also managing the testing strategy and execution across the platform. You will collaborate closely with product owners, QA leads, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to ensure the successful delivery of in-store technology solutions that support our global retail operations. As an Engineering Manager, you will be accountable for technical product management, engineering health of assigned products/platforms and overall engineering talent management for the assigned scope. An Engineering Manager has software engineering experience and is expected to be well versed in DevSecOps best practices and familiar with Cloud Technologies. They have a strong focus on coaching, mentoring, developing and growing engineering talent on the team, functioning as the primary champion of an engineering mindset within the team. You will also be responsible for establishing and executing the strategy, defining platforms/capabilities, building and leading cross-functional teams, and communicating to a large number of senior level stakeholders. This role will lead teams that will help with maturing various business and technical capabilities across the TJX India Office. Engineering Leadership Lead and mentor a team of software engineers and QA professionals focused on Oracle Retail Xstore POS. Drive the design, development, and deployment of POS enhancements, customizations, and integrations. Ensure engineering best practices including code quality, performance optimization, and secure development. Testing & Quality Assurance Own the end-to-end testing strategy for Xstore POS, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing. Oversee the implementation of automated testing frameworks and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with QA leads to ensure test coverage, defect tracking, and release readiness. Project & Stakeholder Management Partner with Product Management and Business Analysts to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Manage project timelines, resource planning, and delivery milestones. Communicate progress, risks, and dependencies to leadership and cross-functional teams. Platform & Vendor Collaboration Work closely with Oracle and third-party vendors to ensure alignment with product roadmaps and support models. Stay current with Oracle Xstore releases and industry trends to inform platform strategy. What you will do: As a Manager of Engineering, you will be accountable for the overall engineering and technical health of solutions within this domain area and engineering talent management within and across your teams.
