A key focus in recent years has been architecting and solutioning Advanced Analytics (AI and ML) applications to support business functions globally. Architecture is a key capability to ensure that all solutions are built leveraging our investments in Data and Technologies optimally. Key Responsibilities: As an ED&A Architect, you will work across all architecture disciplines to collaborate in all platform capability work leading the organization through pragmatic vision and strong influence. You will recommend alternative options within architecture designs and the introduction and use cases for the adoption of new technologies. Define, maintain, and evolve the analytics foundation data architecture, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technology standards. Develop logical and physical data models to support analytics, automation, and business applications. Ensure consistency across data domains by applying architectural principles, standards, and best practices. Define integration patterns for ingestion, transformation, storage, and consumption across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data. Guide adoption of modern approaches including data lakehouse, ELT, data products, and observability practices. Ensure architectural designs meet enterprise security, compliance, and data privacy requirements. Contribute to data governance by defining standards for metadata, lineage, quality, and lifecycle management. Collaborate with enterprise architecture, product security architects, and business stakeholders to drive alignment. Provide thought leadership on emerging technologies such as AI/ML, LLMs, and automation to identify opportunities for innovation. Create a collaborative environment for work through respect, honesty, transparency and empathy. What You will Need (Minimum Qualifications): Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 5+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or related fields. Proven expertise in designing and implementing solutions on modern data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Azure Data Lake). Strong understanding of data modeling, data integration (ETL/ELT), and distributed data processing. Solid grasp of data governance, security, and compliance practices. Experience working in global Agile/SAFe environments. Champion innovation by staying abreast of the latest advancements in Data and Analytics related technologies and proactively finding opportunities for their integration into our architecture. Ability to partner effectively with key stakeholders and to use informal influencing skills to gain consensus. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively bridge the gap between technical and non-technical audiences. Strong strategic and critical thinking skills. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and adversity. You must be comfortable in a social environment and building personal relationships with key stakeholders inside and outside of the architecture function. Ability to learn and adapt quickly. Preferred Qualifications: Prior work experience in delivering Data Analytics solutions for Retail domain. Experience working with enterprise metadata and governance tools (e.g., Alation, BigID, etc.). Knowledge of data product design and domain-driven approaches. Understanding of advanced modeling for AI/ML enablement and real-time data processing. Familiarity with BI/analytics platforms (Power BI, Cognos, Microsoft Fabric).
