The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance our data-driven decision-making processes, particularly within the retail sector. Responsibilities include: - Analyse large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that drive business strategy. - Develop and implement predictive models and statistical analyses to inform decision making. - Conduct strong exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover stories within the data and effectively communicate findings to a wider audience. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and deliver analytical solutions. - Visualize data and present findings to non-technical audiences in a clear and compelling manner. - Identify patterns, issues, and augmentation techniques in data to provide ML engineers with the necessary information for building AI/ML models. - Participate in the design and development of data pipelines using Spark and other big data technologies Monitor and maintain the performance of deployed models and analytics solutions. - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in data science and big data technologies.
