A passion for jewellery and desire for the unorthodox is what brought sisters Kaabia and Sasha Grewal together to launch Outhouse in 2012. Guided by a sophisticated yet dramatic sensibility, the duo combine unique elements with inventive design to create their collections. Kaabia and Sasha developed a love for jewellery at a young age, and grew up to pursue the same with degrees in jewellery design and manufacturing from the Indian Institute of Gems & Jewellery.

After working as head designer at a design house, Sasha went on to join high street fashion brand, Topshop in London. Kaabia went to the Gemological Institute of America, New York to pursue her interest in gemology after which she interned with jewellery designer Eddie Borgo.

In the span of 4 years - Outhouse has had 3 shows at Lakme Fashion Week, numerous exhibits, participated at entrepreneurial summits, won the Vogue Fashion Fund in 2015 and been featured in the Forbes India 30 under 30 list in 2016. Today, Outhouse is one of India’s leading bridge jewellery houses; adorned by style icons and film stars like Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Nargis Fakri as well as global names like Sienna Miller, Ashley Louis James & Tyra Banks.

Quality & Luxury are the core attributes of the Outhouse brand - from the finishing of the hand crafted pieces, to the beautiful pink packaging box that a customer receives, to the shopping experience at their flagship stores in Delhi and Bangalore.

Job description

The brand’s Social Media Strategy & Content Calendar, including specific micro-strategies for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.
The daily publishing and posting of ongoing photo and video shoots with the Creative team our Visual communication designer & Photographer . This includes BTS, Ways to Wear and other entertaining video and photo content on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
Assist in the posting of curated content and manage all published content (images, video and written).
The writing of thoughtful captions that are crafted in Outhouse's aesthetic , authentic voice to increase engagement with our community.
Resolving questions promptly in a timely manner in our brand’s voice and tone, while overseeing the brand’s community management strategy, inclusive of response protocol and crisis response.
Proactively liking and engaging with thoughtful comments with people daily, continuing to discover and connect with inspiring people along the way.
Responding to all DM’s and questions on the threads in a timely manner with the help Of our CRM manager .  This includes commenting back, liking on community and tagged photos to show love and support.
Review of all SOW’s (Statement of Work) while researching and keeping up with the competitive social landscape and emerging social media tools/trends to bring innovative ideas to the table.
Research set us up with the latest and most efficient social media management tools for success.
 
 
You are ready to . . .
Completely understand the designer’s vision and mission and the uniqueness and fit of every new style and the ability to convey this via visual imagery and written word.
Learn exactly which content performs best based on social media analytics.
Proactively gather and analyse insights on all social media platforms, sharing important reporting with the team.
Develop great relationships with the fashion directors at all social media platforms.
Know how to properly respond to criticism on both platforms in a warm, kind and diplomatic way.
 
Goals:
Your performance will be based on the balance of diversity, inclusivity, and beautiful story telling that performs well on Outhouse social, while staying true to the brand’s authentic voice and vision. 
You will be responsible for creating a monthly report that reflects -
Increase our social media reach, that is, the number of engaged followers on all platforms.
Increase our share of voice, including mentions by influencers, customers, fans and followers.
Increase the amount of website traffic that comes from social media postings.
Increase the level of positive organic engagement on all platforms.
Increase the amount of diverse and inclusive content with storytelling and brand voice.

Profile

As Social Media Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for strategizing, implementing, and managing all the brand's social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube by creating high-quality visual and written storytelling messages with a voice that is both on brand and socially engaging. You will develope / execute Outhouses Marketing & social strategies and manage the brands consumer facing messages . Our ideal candidate will have a track record  success with growth marketing initiatives across all digital channels . You have a creative eye and understand our brand aesthetic & articulate it through creative sales . 
 
 
 
You will also strategize, orchestrate, and manage our celebrity and influencer gifting program with our amazing team, while working with our production department for pre-launch delivery of all new styles to muses around the world.  
 
Focusing on the brand's Digital First strategy. An Innovative and customer centric approach and a philosophy inspired by the of a democratic and authentic emotional connection with our Outhouse Community needs to be the two key elements of our branding strategy, which sees digital as a space to experiment and translate values of the brand and the creative vision of the founders.
 
This position works cross functionally with the designer/creative director, creative producer, copywriter, graphic designer, e-commerce manager and marketing/PR team. 
You will be working to develop strategic social media posts with the goals of building brand loyalty, increasing revenue, platform growth, engagement rate optimisation and increased awareness.
