We are hiring Production Manager for our organization at Hyderabad location.

Position: Production Manager
Experience: 8+ yrs in production and operations in manufacturing industry (preferably Electronics & Instrumentation)
Qualification: B.Tech (ECE/EIE/EEE)
Desired Candidate Profile
- Should be from the manufacturing industry, preferably from Electronics and Instrumentation background
- Should have thorough knowledge and experience of all departments of a manufacturing unit
- Should be familiar with modern concepts relating to Production, Maintenance, Supply chain Management, Quality, Technology, etc.
- Should have hands experience in project execution as per the SLAs
- Excellent people management skills, open to direction and Collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
- Should have experience in managing large diverse teams and developing individuals to maximize their potential and operate at the highest levels
- Familiarity with sourcing and vendor management
- Interest in market dynamics along with business sense
- A knack for negotiation and networking
- Good working knowledge on ERP application, preferably on Microsoft Dynamics (Nav)
- Solid judgment along with decision making skills
- Strong leadership capabilities
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee end to end Production (multiple products) the company
- Business expansion through product portfolio and service area expansion
- Maintaining the productivity in line with the business plan
- Finding innovative ways to reach the targeted clients and broaden demand funnel in line with Business Plan
- Maintaining top service level to customers through efficient manpower and infrastructure planning
- Structured Reviews of team and taking corrective measures to ensure delivery
- Interaction and negotiations with employees, customers and clients
- Adhering to Compliance requirement of the organization
- Maintain business hygiene and process oriented
- Keep a track on the competition and have critical knowledge about the developments happening in the Analytical Instruments distribution space
- Developing a deep understanding of the organizations business and provide leadership that drives the definition of a future state road map and ensure the quality of all deliverables is met.
- Working closely with various teams including purchase, quality, software, sales teams and marketing to generate additional business.
- Ensuring a value added experience to all stakeholders by partnering with them and influencing them on business and day to day operational issues and expectations.
- Demonstrating operational excellence, business acumen, thought leadership, and change management skills
- Ensuring that SLAs are met on time.
- Liaise extensively with stakeholders
- Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions and direct reports.
- Ensure the development of tactical programs to pursue targeted goals and objectives.
- Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the unit's offerings to customers.
- Oversee key hiring and talent development programs.
- Attrition management (Special Focus on Grooming and Retention of Talent Pool),
Evaluate and decide upon key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent.
- Communicate strategy and results to the unit's employees.
- Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve effectiveness
- Assess, manage and mitigate risks
- Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers. Also develop and maintains good relationship with vendors and suppliers
- Determine quantity and timing of deliveries
- Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand
- Prepares documentation for internal process as per ISO Standards.
