Hidesign started in 1978, as a hobby by Dilip Kapur on his return to India after his Ph.D in International Affairs in the United States. The first few bags were different compared to anything being manufactured in Europe and America at that time. From small alternative shops in San Francisco and London, the bags moved to the first adventurous department stores in the early 1990s in London, California and Australia. Hidesign launched its first exclusive boutique in India in 1998 and has quickly grown to 84 exclusive stores and a distribution network in 23 countries that has placed its product in over 2000 stores across the globe.

Job description


PR for Hidesign and Hidesign group of companies Holii, The Promenade, Le Dupleix and Casablanca
Create content for communication kits & press releases
Create monthly & quarterly PR plans
Monitor, analyze and communicate PR results on a quarterly basis
Oversee FAM trips, coverage and delivery with agency across media
Manage and cultivate media relations, pitch for stories
Manage media inquiries and interview requests
Help to organize market research
Coordinate, follow up and ensure on time delivery of communication projects
Track media, fashion, hospitality and retail industry



Proven working experience in Public relations
Proven track record designing and executing successful public relations campaigns at both local and national level
Strong relationships with both local and national business and industry media outlets
Excellent communication & writing skills
Event planning experience
Domain knowledge in fashion and retail
Organized, diligent and good with follow ups
Team player with a focus on targets
Should have interest in fashion and enjoy working in a fast paced environment
