Job description

Merchandise Planning

 To deploy the right merchandise at the right place at the right time
 To drive roll out of merchandise plans for the category to ensure effective in season management

Ensure availability of merchandize at stores for the required sales target.

 To interact with quality team to ensure adherence to set quality norms and reviewing customer returns and ensure corrections in the assortments

Market analysis and trend forecasting for assessing market opportunity.

Vendor Management

To negotiate with vendors to ensure higher profitability and credit terms 
Follow-up with vendors and ensure that they deliver as per committed quality and timelines 
To pursue cost reduction measures for the category through centralized bulk buying and/ or selecting appropriate vendor mix, scanning the environment for benchmarks and constantly improving the purchase process. 

Order Management

Place orders based to ensure merchandise is delivered as per the plan based on the agreed service level agreement 

Inventory Management

Maintenance of sales and stock reports and MIS

Conducting Sell through analysis

Managing leftover raw material, repackaging, re offering and dormancy control


NIFT - Graduate/ PG
Minimum Experience Level:
3 - 5 Years
