In the span of 4 years - Outhouse has had 3 shows at Lakme Fashion Week, numerous exhibits, participated at entrepreneurial summits, won the Vogue Fashion Fund in 2015 and been featured in the Forbes India 30 under 30 list in 2016. Today, Outhouse is one of India’s leading bridge jewellery houses; adorned by style icons and film stars like Sonam Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Kangana Ranaut, Nargis Fakri as well as global names like Sienna Miller, Ashley Louis James & Tyra Banks.

Job description

PR & Communication
 Cultivate, manage and maintain excellent, meaningful relationships with key media, stylists,
influencers, VIPs and accounts;
 Managing internal and external communications: PR, Promotional collaterals, Sales & Marketing
for the brand
 Developed and Made monthly Communications and PR calendar, for the year highlighting events
around the brand.
 Responsible for the overall brand positioning and growth in brand value with the marketing head,
and calculate media revenue
 Manage various communication channels and tools
 Business strategy and brand awareness
 Conceptualize engagement strategies to draw more traffic on online and offline space India and
 Position the brand in key editorial features and work with publications on brand features, photo
shoots, covers and marketing led activities
 Develop influencer programs and build an active brand ambassador network; Manage
relationships with brand ambassadors and provide suggestions for new relationships;
 Identify, initiate, develop and oversee key opportunities for branding, events and partnerships;
promote press days, presentations and brand events;
 Generate ideas for promotions and product placement in line with the brand; including
collaborating with Retail on launches, competitions and offers and present story angles for
 Collaborate with Design and Sales in developing seasonal marketing story; Set the tone of voice
for each season and collection;
 Write brand press releases and other promotional collateral; Formulate creative ways to tell the
brand story
 Collaborate with creative content team to create the templates that communicate the brand DNA,
history, seasons, product launches, Top Management statements and bio’s to utilize for future sales
and marketing.
 Strategizing media and PR activities around events such as fashion weeks, collaborations and sales
related promotional activities through the year

HR- OHJ- V3 (2.2.22)
 Overlook, coordinate and assist in media and press management by coordinating sample pulls by
various magazines and maintaining challans for the same.
 Co-ordinating all collaterals such as stationery, give always, press kits, etc for fashion weeks and
other events.
 Manage press meets and interactions during brand events.
 Celebrity and VIPS styling initiatives for pitching significant product line. Work on seeding and
gifting activities with media, bloggers, celebrities and influencers during shows and Special
 Coordinate with publications and work with inhouse team to create and design to promote
campaign and drops as per the company’s guidelines as per the new trends
 Develop brand PR assets for new season launches (Photo shoots, Videos, GIF’s, Emailers meta
verse trends and NFTs etc.).
 Identify brand collaborations, marketing tie- ups, sponsorships and execute brand activities along
with the Head of marketing.
 Work on seeding and gifting activities with media, bloggers, celebrities and influencers during
shows and Special occasions
 Plan and execute events
Strategy & Marketing:
 Develop and implement a press and communications strategy; Translate the overall business
objectives into compelling and thoughtful brand communication strategy
 Develop, improve, and propose new initiatives & ideas to constantly elevate the brand
communication, representation, increase brand visibility and awareness
 Integrate PR and social media strategies and messages into all brand communication and establish
consistency across all channels and global markets
 Regularly brainstorm and brief on all marketing and product launch initiatives to develop visual
assets and content.
 Develop and implement marketing campaigns, trend content and real time coverage of launches
and events for brands across digital platforms.
 Responsible for ideating, curating and executing PR & Brand campaigns with analyzing industry
and market trends. Involved in curating media collateral such as media lists, coverage reports,
tracking brand coverage and documents to etc. and further facilitated
 Work with Brand on mood boards, concepts, talent and execution of campaigns for the new season
 Execute marketing and brand communication material for collection launches every season –
brochures, look books and emailers.
 Ideation and conceptualizing designs for styling and set design for photo-shoots
 Responsible for vendor, retainer management and budgeting.
 Work on campaign driving awareness for the Indian market and consumers.
Social and Digital
 Manage brand social media channels with the Sr marketing executive; with focus on building the
company’s image, target customer groups, marketing positioning and brand expansion;
 Work closely with Sales and Ecom to ensure that all seasonal product launches are communicated;
Reports and analysis
 Monitor current and future trends
 Monitor brand placement/exposure across all forms of media, ensuring all communications are
kept in line with the brand and is of the highest standard;

 Continuously measure and evaluate branding effectiveness, ROI and processes, looking for
opportunities to improve, re-align and support branding strategy
 Develop regular reports to keep Top Management informed on marketing activity, risks and
 Calculation of media revenue as per the prevalent card rates and tabulating the same across every
 Maintaining media records through monthly tracking of features on the brand in magazines,
dailies, etc. & answering all press requests (image requests, quote requests) via email through
relevant information approved by the Marketing and communications head
 Responsible on disseminating the communication material and implementation
Co-Ordination/ Organization:
 Organize/ maintain PR closet, including digital archive.
 Maintain press and media contact information;
 Manage all press activities with the broader team as required on an ongoing basis (sample
trafficking, supplying imagery)
 Maintain and manage archive of outhouse press.
 Lead, train and monitor and supervise team to delegate and nurture their development and map
 Events: Organizing the events around the brand with respect to press releases and turnout,
sponsorships, guest lists, invitations, venue co-ordination, etc
 Charting out a calendar for events / PR / collaborations and sales driven events especially,
positioning of founders (Kaabia & Sasha). Holistically come up with ideas and execute them etc.
Single point contact with the PR agency


Creative, driven, and collaborative PR and Marketing & communications individual, to spearhead the
strategy and management of Press and Marketing for Outhouse. An integral part of the team, the AM PR +
Marketing will help to shape, define, execute and evolve the representation and communication. You will
bring a professional, motivated and diversified skill set and best practice to proactively lead the brand PR
and Marketing. As a self-starter and team player you will work collaboratively with Top Management,
Design and Sales to develop a brand and product communications strategy and continue to grow brand
awareness through innovative marketing and digital opportunities. Responsibilities will encompass PR,
social media, strategy, proposing partnerships and executing marketing opportunities. As a creative and
