Job description
Role: Area Sales Manager - Milk Sales
Designation: Assistant Manager / Area Sales Manager / Senior Area Sales Manager
Department: Milk Sales
Work Location: Hyderabad
Reporting To: Regional Sales Manager - MS
Educational Qualification: Graduate / MBA in Sales and Marketing
Prior Experience: Minimum 3 years as ASM
- Lead from the front and ensure that the regional/state-wise, product-wise sales target are achieved.
- Review and monitor region/ state-wise performance of the team on a weekly basis.
- Conceptualize and develop region/ state-wise sales strategies in line with available resources.
- Ensure cost in line with sales generated as per agreed norm.
- To control regional/ state operating cost.
- Ensure that regional/ state expenses do not exceed the budgeted amount.
- Identify opportunities for developing existing market and exploring new areas by market intelligence through field force on periodic basis.
Required Candidate profile
- Thorough understanding of the milk business and latest developments in the Industry
- Knowledge of competitor prices and sales figures
- Knowledge of Dodla Products
- Geographical knowledge of the city
- Demographic knowledge of the city
Technical Skills:
- Working knowledge of computers: PowerPoint, excel, word and email management
